Mchongwano time. This made me laugh. Because I had never heard it before. And that is a crucial thing about how I like my mchongwanos...new to me. Those who do not understand this joke, do not worry. I will explain it to y'all and eventually lose the joke in translation and make this joke unfunny and utterly tasteless but you will get the message.

Wewe ni kiwete hadi hauwezi kanyagia story.

Direct translation
You are such a cripple that you can not step on a story.
By 'stepping on a story' (kukayagia story) they mean letting the story go, as in forgetting that you mentioned it.
You may find it improper that it is a joke involving cripples but I find it a way of accepting them in our social circles ( by jokes). In a way I am finding it hard to explain at the moment because I am tapped out. Spent like the whole day walking. Yes because I could not afford the fare.
So swali ya leo ni ( the question for the day is ) is it okay to make disabled mchongwanos? And can you share the ones that you have?
